I had a wonderful stay at a lovely hotel by the river. the rooms and facilities were fantastic, and the breakfast, though simple, was delicious. the two owners were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. the location of the hotel was also excellent, providing a great opportunity to enjoy beautiful sunsets over the Thanlyin river. I particularly enjoyed meeting other travelers during breakfast on the large balcony. Cons: Can't think of anything 😊.

This guest house offers a comfortable stay with well-located rooms. With a good surprise for our first night in Myanmar, the guest house also offers a delicious breakfast with a view and a motorbike for rent. the rooms are spacious with a large bathroom and hot shower. Ivan, the host, is generous and kind.
Felt cozy, nothing too much trouble.

The staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and knowledgeable about the local culture. The view from the terrace was breathtaking. The guesthouse had an old-school vibe, bringing back nostalgic memories of backpacking in my 20s. The full-day tour to Ogre Island was fascinating, showcasing the craftspeople and offering stunning sunset views from the balcony where breakfast was served daily. Free Wi-Fi and convenient car park were available. No need for AC, the fan room was comfortable. a mind-blowing experience that I wish could have lasted longer.

I loved the super comfortable beds and the friendly staff, especially the young guy who showed me to my room. The location was great, close to the pagoda and with a lovely view of the lake. The breakfast was delicious and I even got to enjoy it in the company of a cute dog. As a solo traveler, I appreciated the great budget-friendly options available.
I felt very at home at the guest house, and the staff were always there to help with anything I needed. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

The twin room at this riverfront guest house was comfortable and spacious with good amenities like AC and hot water shower. the breakfast on the terrace offered a pleasant view. the location was quiet and within walking distance of the hill of pagodas. the guest house also arranged for motorbike rental and boat cruises.
Thin walls and small windows in the ground floor rooms could result in noise disturbances.
